Casa na Praia is comprised of two properties Casa Azul and Africa Bungalow. The accommodation is of two different standards, Africa Bungalow being the higher of the two. Casa Azul offers comfortable rooms full of charm. Bungalow Africa is a mixture of modern luxury and traditional design.
Casa Azul is an old colonial building lovingly restored and refurbished. It is of historical importance to Tofo as it was one of the first houses built here. After being devastated by a serious storm in 2002 it is now back to it´s former glory. Casa Azul has 5 rooms, the most loved of which is known as the Tree House and offers a quirky space with a large veranda and views to die for.
Our other property is Africa Bungalow. We have recently also restored and transformed another colonial property on the beach adjacent to Casa Azul. Our brand new rooms at Africa Bungalow are stylishly decorated with panoramic views of the beach. Finished to a high standard with hammocks to relax and admire the crystal clear ocean.

Relax in the Brazilian hammock or sit back in your deck chair and be cooled by the sea breeze. Inside the room there is a powerful ceiling fan to keep the room fresh. Towels are provided for after you have enjoyed the large shower. Breakfast can be served to your room if you so desire and can be enjoyed in private on your couch.

Casa Azul
Shell Room - A lovely double bedroom with private ensuite. This is a very peaceful room as it is situated to the back of the property. There is a mosquito net and the fan to keep you cool at night.
Garden Room - A newly refurbished spacious bedroom. The room has a double bed and single bed. It has a large ensuite and is perfect for a small family or friends. There is plenty of room in the ensuite offering an open air garden feel which gives the room its name. Both beds have mosquito nets and there is a fan to keep you cool at night.
Sunset Room - A newly refurbished bedroom with spectacular sea views. This newly transformed room is light and airy. This room comes with its own veranda to relax and watch the waves gently lapping the beach. The room has a shower and basin with access to a bathroom directly opposite the room. There is a mosquito net and the room has a fan but the room is also cooled by the breeze from the ocean.
Sand Room - A spacious room with lots of light. The room is positioned on the corner of the building giving great views of the beach and ocean. You will feel refreshed by the sea breeze when you rest in the double bed. The room also has a mosquito net and a fan.
Tree House Room - Spiral stairs around a tree trunk lead you up to this large room. There is a double bed and a single bed with the option to use the day bed also. The veranda is large with comfortable seating enjoy the sea views. A real gem and offers one of the best views in Tofo. There are mosquito nets and a fan but the room is also cooled by sea breeze.
