Pomene Lodge is hidden away on the virgin coast of sub-tropical Mozambique, free from fax or phone offering an action packed adventure for the serious diving, fishing and outdoor devotee. Pomene Lodge is situated in one of the most picturesque spots in Mozambique.
The lodge is remote, with a low population assuring unspoilt conditions. Pomene Lodge is about 600 kilometres north of Maputo and 170 kilometres south of Vilanculos. Pomene Lodge lies on a narrow peninsula with the Indian Ocean lapping at its front doorstep and crystal clear waters of a spectacular mangrove estuary lapping on the other, it has the best of both worlds.
From every accommodation site you are no more than one minutes walk from the white beach sand and the warm Indian Ocean. Pomene Lodge is advantageously located in the Pomene estuary offering a sheltered haven for swimming.
Guests of Pomene Lodge cannot escape the rhythmic sound of the ocean nor miss seeing perfect sunsets over the estuary or watch the flamingos concentrate in large gaggling groups and brandish the sky with shades of pink throughout the day.
